    Oh yeah!

I just wanted to gloat about a few things, first being...

    1. I'M JOINING THE NAVY!!! Me. Yes, me. 5'2", approximately 95lbs. I applied for the NROTC program, which means 4 years of college first and $180,000 to pay for it, and then officer's school (no boot camp), then 4 years active service. I'm thinking I'll cut my hair anyway though, just to have it out of the way, and so that I can donate it (of course).

    2. I made a 5 on the AP English test, which means I rock at English. Yaaay.

    3. I sent an application off to Tulane, and they said I should get the decision back soon. There's an advantage to that whole Early Decision stuff, you know. You should go check it out.

    4. I'm getting better at xylophone. I can actually do my runs 80% of the time.

    5. That book everyone's reading for the Teen Reads Book Club at school? Yeah, I finished it last weekend. It was pretty good, but I've already begun to forget most of what happened. I know my sister's going to love it though, once I send it to her.

So there you go. My dose of gloating. Now you can't say I'm "modest" or whatever. I just have very little to talk about, and it really doesn't make much difference what I made on a test or what grade I have or anything, because it just doesn't matter. You could say it's like... well, it's really just another opinion, you know? This teacher thinks I earned this, so it's what they gave me. These people that I was good enough to do this, so they asked me to do it. I'm a pretty self-critical person, so what they think is good enough usually just... doesn't matter to me. And that's most of what it is. So.

    I'm going with the flow.
