Yay for seniorhood... ugh.
Let me tell you, I'm not sure if I love my planner or hate it, because it simultaneously keeps me organized and friggin'
crushes me under all the pressure of Things To Do, Places to Be, People to Call... Oh well. I'll get over it or be crushed, I guess.
So I played in the rain today. That was pretty fun. Probably the most delightful thing that's happened to me all day.
I'm actually supposed to be doing homework right now. And here I am complaining about my self-imposed pressure.
So while I hate to be a down-bringer, I just thought I'd pause a moment and reflect on my three closest friend here at school, one of which has moved far, far away, and the other two who have had a falling out. To start with the advantage, I just have to say that I started getting a little closer to other people. One person, anyway. Maybe two. But the point is I seem to be branching out at least a tiny bit. But sadly, the disadvantage leaves me doing a lot of homework in my spare time. Which could be an advantage, except sometimes I feel like I need to... have a good freak out, you know? Just let it all go and flip out on somebody.
But that's okay. The urge comes and goes. And actually, now that I think about it, I'm beginning to see more opportunities with friends, except... well, I was just thinking of going to find out more about the term "Wallflower," because it could possibly help me understand why I'm so friggin' shy or whatever.
Oh. Speak of the devil. Hm... so Yahoo Beta is this new cool thing for my email, and it has messenger included, and I'm talking to someone I've never said a word to in person, because we all gave out our email addresses in AP Calc in exchange for
all the answers to our homework (SCORE!), so... opportunities. But odd for me. If you haven't noticed, I'm an Internet chatterbox. And
omg my Yahoo avatar is awful. How do I obliterate that stupid thing? Ugh.
If anyone here has yet to see
The Prestige, by the way, you
have to go see it, because it's frickin' awesome. I loved it. Totally adore that movie. We watched it at Austin's b-day party, and there was this debate about whether or not it was a clone or a brother (you'd know if you saw the movie), but I
kno
w it was a brother. At least I'm 99.999% sure. Because I don't think Tesla actually made a machine like that one previously, and it was all just part of Borden's trick on Angier. And then, when you think about their personalities, they're just too different! That's getting into whether or not a clone would have similar personality traits, but I doubt that they'd be too far off from the original, and the brothers were totally different people.
Okay. I'll just go do my homework now, seeing as I'm short on sleep and have a long day tomorrow. *sigh*
